Our Director, Claire Bright joined the conversation as a discussant, alongside Sarah Dadush, Fernando Gómez Pomar, and Mae Trang Nguyen.
In her intervention, Claire explored the implications of the shift from soft law to hard law in the context of mandatory human rights and environmental due diligence. She examined what makes sustainable due diligence both appropriate and effective, drawing on lessons from existing mandatory due diligence regimes.
