Deep-Dive Session on Business and Affected Communities

On the 19th of March 2026, our Senior Research Associate, Céline da Graça Pires, led, as an expert, a deep-dive session on business and affected communities as part of the thematic cycle of the United Nations Global Compact France Network.

The session gathered a full audience both in person and online, bringing together companies of different sizes and levels of maturity to exchange on challenges, practices and lessons learned. Discussions focused on the practical implementation of meaningful community engagement, structured around key steps such as identifying affected communities, designing inclusive approaches, setting up grievance mechanisms and ensuring effective remediation and transparent communication, complemented by a practical case study to support operationalisation.
