Abstract:
The chapter 5 of the book analyses the topic of sustainability in Directive 2019/771, on certain aspects concerning contracts for the sale of goods, emphasising the strengths and weaknesses of the choices made by the European legislator with regard to the promotion of sustainable consumption. This article also provides some re|ections on the transposition of the Directive into the Portuguese legal system, with some brief notes on Decree-Law No. 84/2021 of October 18.
