Vasco Becker-Weinberg is an invited professor at NOVA School of Law and the co-coordinator of the LL.M program on Law and Economics of the Sea at NOVA. He has researched at prominent academic institutions and written and published extensively on the law of the sea and public international law. Professor Becker-Weinberg has been on several delegations to international fora and advises on law of the sea and international law matters. He is also currently Judicial Clerk at the Portuguese Constitutional Court and was previously Legal Advisor to the Portuguese Secretary of the Sea and a full-time scholar at the International Max Planck Research School for Maritime Affairs at the University of Hamburg.
