On the 21st and 22nd of October 2025, our Director, Claire Bright’s Private International Law had the pleasure of welcoming Ana Duarte Santos for a guest lecture on the private international law dimensions of cross-border claims involving corporate-related human rights harms.
Her session offered valuable insights into jurisdiction, applicable law, and the challenges that arise when human rights impacts span multiple legal systems. It was an excellent opportunity for students to explore how private international law interacts with the evolving landscape of business and human rights.
