On 23rd October 2025 Laura Íñigo Álvarez delivered the keynote speech at the Católica Graduate Legal Research Conference at the Católica Research Centre for the Future of Law in Lisbon. Her speech was entitled “The Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive: a paradigm shift or the preservation of the status quo?” and discussed the current status of the CSDDD in relation to the limitations proposed by the Omnibus package. The conference preceded the Lisbon Climate Conference 2025 that took place on 24th October organised by Armando Rocha and Maria Pena Ermida.
