Abstract:
The report commissioned by the NGO CNCD-11.11.11 and the members of the Working Group on Corporate Accountability provides a series of options to pursue mandatory human rights due diligence legislation in Belgium, based on an analysis of similar initiatives in surrounding countries and an analysis of possible ‘anchors in Belgian law. The report forms the basis of a legislative proposal currently being discussed in Belgium.
