Andrea Cerofolini
PhD candidate in Public International Law at the University of Bologna

Andrea Cerofolini is a PhD candidate in Public International Law at the University of Bologna, where he is also a teaching assistant at the Department of Political and Social Sciences.
His doctoral research is in the field of climate change litigation, with a particular focus on state and non-state actors. His research aims to thoroughly review existing case law, identify key legal obstacles, and potentially clarify the obligations of States and corporations in light of domestic courts’ interpretation of binding and non-binding standards.
He is currently on a five-month research stay at NOVA BHRE.
