Luiza Rocha

PhD Candidate, Research Associate

Luiza Rocha is a PhD Candidate at NOVA School of Law. Her main interests include sustainable development, climate change, and corporate responsibility, with a particular focus on studying the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive. During her master’s specialization in international and European law at the NOVA School of Law, she participated in the Themis Programme, an international legal network of excellence for master’s students specializing in business law and economics, at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland. She holds a postgraduate degree in human rights from the Ius Gentium Conimbrigae (IGC/CDH) at the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra, Portugal, and another postgraduate degree in law enforcement, compliance, and corporate responsibility from the University of Lisbon, Portugal. Her law degree is from the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná in Brazil.
