Pedro Witschoreck is a PhD candidate in Public Law in the Postgraduate Program in Law at the University of Vale do Rio dos Sinos (UNISINOS). His doctoral research focuses on corporate responsibility, in particular platform capitalism, with emphasis on environmental and labour issues of companies categorized as lean platforms. He is a researcher at CCULTIS (Centre for Comparative Legal Cultures, Internationalization of Law and Justice Systems) and a researcher in the UNIVERSAL Research Project – Syndemic and Human Rights: Transnational Mechanisms, State and Corporate Responsibility, linked to the IRP Project ALCOM – Contribuitions de Làmérique Latine à Lèsquisse d’ùn Droit Commun, sponsored by CNRS/Fr.
