The NOVA Centre on Business, Human Rights and Environment has launched its first Sustainability Talks. Through these Sustainability Talks, we debated the answer to the most debated questions with speakers from different backgrounds and industries.
The Sustainability Talks started with a first session focused on the circular economy, which is gaining momentum as a priority policy and business strategy. The following session focused on the dangers of pink, social, and greenwashing done by corporations wishing to tackle human rights and environmental issues. The third session discussed the fair trade movement and how it can help protect people, especially workers, along the value chain. For the fourth and last session, the Sustainability Talks focused on the new social contract needed for the just transition.
