The NOVA BHRE is proud to be part of NEAR-ER (Network on Europe-Africa Relations – Education and Research), a Jean Monnet Policy Network funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.
Bringing together 16 distinguished higher education institutions from Europe (6) and Africa (10), NEAR-ER is dedicated to advancing knowledge, fostering informed debate, and strengthening academic ties between the two continents.
🔹 What is NEAR-ER about?
As an interdisciplinary and bi-regional network, NEAR-ER promotes mutual knowledge exchange, close interaction, dialogue and science dissemination via in-person and online events, academic debates, the exchange of best practices, and the dissemination of research and teaching methodologies, blog posts, webinars, podcasts and many other regular materials. Its work focuses on key areas such as:
