Ana Santos Duarte is a professional specialized in Business & Human Rights. Ana was a lawyer at the Vieira de Almeida e Associados, in the Social Economy & Human Rights Area of Practice, where she provided strategic legal counsel to entrepreneurs on Business & Human Rights and the EU Taxonomy’s Minimum Safeguards Criteria. She actively participates in research projects, engages with various stakeholders, delivers guest lectures, and drafts newsletters on legal and case law developments in ESG/the field of business and human rights . Ana pursued an Advanced Post-Graduation in Corporate Law at the Private Law Research Centre, Institute for Private Law of the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon and a Bachelor of Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon. Her main areas of interest are   Business & Human Rights, Corporate Accountability, Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainable Corporate Finance. 

In the NOVA BHRE she writes articles and prepares the Newsletter: Key ESG Developments.
