Private International Law, Business, Human Rights Due Diligence and Environmental Due Diligence

Cindy Carvalho is an International and European Master’s Law Student at Nova School of Law and a Research Assistant at NOVA BHRE. Cindy holds a bachelor’s degree in Private Law from Aix-Marseille University.
She has been part of the organization “Time for equality” in Luxembourg, where she organized showings and interactive discussions about various refugee stories. Additionally, she spent two months in Tanzania volunteering in a school, where she gained a lot of interest in human rights and fundamental freedoms.
She also did two internships at BGL BNP Paribas in Luxembourg. Cindy has always been interested in the intersection between the corporate world and social and environmental issues.
Her main areas of interest are Private International Law, Business, Human Rights Due Diligence and Environmental Due Diligence.
