Human Rights Due Diligence; Gender Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

Raquel is a fourth-year student at NOVA School of Law. In 2019 she assisted, in legal matters, asylum seekers at the Refugee Camp in Turin, Italy. Raquel has worked in the gender equality field through the HeForShe movement by creating educational projects such as “WeForEducation” and “Research Project – Covid 19 & Gender Equality”.

Additionally, Raquel is an intern at Legaü – LegalTech Startup and has interned at PLMJ in the area of Banking, Finance and Capital Markets. Through this professional experience, she gained interest in the intersection between Venture Capital and Social Development, because of the shift in focus from “corporate profit” to “corporate profit plus social profit”.

At the centre, she has collaborated on grant proposals and currently works on the monthly newsletter.
