The second edition of the Portuguese-language E-Course on ESG Reporting and Due Diligence, co-organized by the NOVA Centre on Business, Human Rights and the Environment (NOVA BHRE) and the NOVA Green Lab, was held between April and June 2025. Throughout the course, participants explored the emerging legal and strategic requirements for companies to align their policies and practices with ESG criteria—reflecting growing expectations from investors, consumers, and other stakeholders. The curriculum also incorporated recent legislative developments and relevant case law.
The programme featured a diverse group of trainers, including scholars, legal practitioners, consultants, NGO representatives, and business professionals, all with extensive experience in the field. Their contributions provided participants with a rich and multi-perspective understanding of the key challenges and opportunities surrounding ESG and human rights due diligence.
This executive course is jointly coordinated by Claire Bright, Director of NOVA BHRE, and Lucila de Almeida, Director of the NOVA Green Lab.
